CAROLINE WALLACE
Caroline enjoyed drawing from an early age and began sculpting in bronze over 28 years ago; she is now regarded as one of the top artists in this field, she also paints many subjects in oils. She has exhibited her work in London, Europe and America.
Private commissions have included top hunter chaser, Bright Approach, owned by John Burbidge, Istabraq and Mini Sensation for JP McManus and a bronze of the champion racehorse and stallion Rock of Gibraltar.
The life-size bronze of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother’s wonderful racehorse Special Cargo at Sandown Park was a tribute to Her Majesty and a special commission.
In 2007, Caroline concentrated on a detailed study of HRH Princess Royal as Colonel in Chief of the Blues and Royals at the Queens Birthday parade. This exclusive edition sold out immediately.
Caroline has recently completed a sculpture of the Aachen 2006 World Equestrian Games Champion, Zara Phillips and her horse Toy Town, painted three times World Drivers Champion Sir Jackie Stewarts dog’s and is currently working on a bronze of HRH The Prince of Wales during the Trooping of the Colour held on the Horse Guards Parade in London.
